Grand Country Buffet
1945 W. Hwy 76, Branson, Missouri
The Grand Country has several eating options at the complex, but my favorite is the buffet. The food is always fresh and plentiful. I have never experienced “empty pan syndrome” here. The breakfast buffet is a great way to start your day while your here. Plenty of traditional offerings, fresh fruit, and baked goods. They have a malted waffle that I can’t get enough of. This is the only place I have ever encountered one of these, and I was hooked from the start, so make sure to save room on your plate for one or two.
The dinner buffet is also a must try. They have some of the best traditional fried chicken I have ever eaten. And there is always something on the carving board worth trying as well. Everything is homemade and delicious. The service is second to none from the time you walk in the door. They carry your tray and drinks to your table for you, and your waitresses are always friendly and helpful. The atmosphere of the dining room is rustic, with a lot of memorabilia hanging on the walls. I always seem to notice something different each time.
After you dine you can enjoy a game of mini-golf, or browse through the gift shop. They have many great things to do on-site. The highlight being the shows. My personal favorite is the Grand Country Jubilee. This show has something for everyone. The New South Quartet, Jackie Brown, and the Grand Country Band put on a show that is second to none. EmCee Mike Patrick and Jim Dandy (Jamie Haage) keep the show flowing and the laughs rolling. Both stellar performers as well. Check them out on your next visit to Branson.
