5 More Great Places To Eat In Branson

As I have mentioned before Branson used to be my weekend getaway place. I have now decided to call it home and it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. There is always something to do and it is a great place if you have kids. A lot of family friendly activities, fantastic school system, and plenty of work opportunities. Branson has a very strong sense of community.

The variety of food available here makes it just that much more desirable for me. From fine dining to fast food , whatever your craving or budget, there is something for everyone. So I am going to list another 5 places that I think are worth your consideration on your next visit. I have personally eaten at each one of them and can vouch for the quality and service offered.

1. Dana’s Barbeque and Burger Shop

Great tasting BBQ and Really good Burgers They have a few locations so your never too far away from one. Warning!! The biscuits they serve with their dinner baskets are addicting. I have never had a bad meal here, and the service is always top notch. Check out the website for all their locations and join their loyalty club for special offers. They smoke their own meats every night, and make all their own sauces and rubs. And the Burgers are handmade to order. Give em a try!

     2. Grand Country Buffet

The Grand Country has several eating options at the complex, but my favorite is the buffet. The food is always fresh and plentiful. I have never experienced “empty pan syndrome” here. The breakfast buffet is a great way to start your day while your here. Plenty of traditional offerings, fresh fruit, and baked goods. They have a malted waffle that I can’t get enough of. This is the only place I have ever encountered one of these, and I was hooked from the start, so make sure to save room on your plate for one or two.

The dinner buffet is also a must try. They have some of the best traditional fried chicken I have ever eaten. And there is always something on the carving board worth trying as well. Everything is home made and delicious. The service is second to none from the time you walk in the door. They carry your tray and drinks to your table for you, and your waitresses are always friendly and helpful.

3. El Charro Mexican Restaurant

If Mexican is your craving, I highly recommend trying this place. All food is made fresh to order, and they have great daily specials on food and drinks. This is authentic Mexican cuisine and the quality is outstanding. Service is always great and the wait staff is very attentive to your needs. Combine all this with a great south of the border atmosphere, and you’ve got a winner every time. My personal favorite menu item is the Enchiladas Verdes. Carnitas style pork stuffed enchiladas with a chille verde sauce, Sides of Rice and Guacamole salad. Nothing ever left on my plate.

4. Shogun at the Falls

This place is Asian Fine Dining at it’s best!! Traditional Japanese fare and an extremely entertaining Hibachi experience The whole family will find something to enjoy here. My personal favorite menu item is the Korean BBQ, thin sliced beef marinated and grilled with mushrooms and onions, served with lettuce wraps and miso sauce.

5. Florentina’s Ristorante Italiano 

Great Italian food  all hand crafted and chef inspired. They offer a full array of Italian Cuisine, and you can get it family Style. My personal item I come here for is the Brick Oven Pizza. It is just simply amazing. Everything I Have ever had off the menu was tops, But the pizza got me hooked. If you have never tried a white pie, I recommend the pesto e pollo. Grilled Chicken, Basil Pesto, Fresh Spinach and Gorgonzola, along with their House blend cheese. Amazingly Good!!. Great service abounds and a fantastic family atmosphere.

So add these places to your list of must eats in Branson. You will not be dissatisfied with any of them.
